• Postdoc Position in the Schober and Ito Labs:

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with an interest in investigating the role of tumor-stroma interactions in regulating transcriptional heterogeneity and metastatic dissemination in early stage melanoma. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic and interdisciplinary team of scientists at the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and the Perlmutter Cancer Center, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. Candidates should have a PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, or genetics, with a background in cancer biology and experience working with genetically engineered mouse and patient-derived xenograft models. Basic knowledge of R and/or Python is desirable. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential. Interested candidates should send their Curriculum Vitae and a letter of intent detailing their motivation for applying to this position to Markus.Schober@nyulangone.org and Mayumi.Ito@nyulangone.org.

  • Postdoctoral Positions in the Lund Lab:

We have multiple fully funded postdoctoral positions available in the lab to work on various projects including but not necessarily limited to: (1) the impact of the shed/secreted melanoma proteome and lymph on the tumor-draining lymph node, regional metastasis and response to immunotherapy; (2) mechanisms and long-term consequences (metastasis and/or immunotherapy) of leukocyte egress from the tumor microenvironment (Steele et al Nature Immunol 2023); and (3) investigating the natural evolution of the tumor draining lymph node and its impact on regional and systemic metastasis. Successful candidates will be self-motivated and collaborative with a PhD in basic or tumor immunology, cancer biology, or endothelial biology. If interested please email Dr. Lund (amanda.lund@nyulangone.org) with a copy of your CV and scientific interests.
